We are so incredibly fortunate to have both the circumstances and confidence to take advantage of this opportunity to explore Tassie. But, for me, the most rewarding parts of this trip aren’t the amazing places we’ve been to, or the food and drink we’ve sampled, or even the beautiful photographic landscapes I’ve had the privilege to shoot.
No. The most fantastic and enjoyable thing has been sharing this trip with my travelling companion.
Our blog provides a snippet of what we’ve done, seen and experienced. But it doesn’t record all the moments in between. Those times when we’re chatting in the car, the little looks, the grins or guffaws, the snarky moments when we need our personal space, or the telepathic moments where we’re finishing each other’s sentences.
The moments in between are what I treasure most on our trips and to be able to share them with Jules, my wife, my best friend, my confidant, my rock.
