Just a couple of weeks after our Molloy camping trip we headed south again, this time to Busselton to catch up with Putter and Tania at the Leeuwin Concert, this year starring Chris Isaak. Apart from knowing who Chris Isaak was and a couple of his popular hits, neither Jules or I were big Chris Isaak fans however, WOW, what an entertaining performer he is. He was really engaging and soon had the crowd grooving along, particularly after a the patrons relieved Leeuwin Estate of a few of their great bottles of wine. Fantastic night with good friends.
Actually, it was whilst having a quiet ale at the Goose Restaurant on the Friday night before the concert (at the end of the Busselton Jetty), that we conceived the idea for this website and after a couple more beers and giggles, ‘Sucks To Be You’ was born. We spent Saturday (before the concert) exploring the area, it was a fantastic day with lots of sun and not a breath of wind.
