Trip 9 – W.A. in bloom

As most locals and many foreigners know, W.A. typically puts on a spectacular wildflower show every July to September and this year is no exception.  One reason for heading north to Sandstone from the Great Central Road was so that we could then drive through to Yalgoo and then south, down the Midlands Rd, home through the main W.A. wildflower belt.

We weren’t disappointed and following are a couple of pics which don’t do the volume, variety or beauty of our wildflowers justice.  They are at their peak now and most are easily seen via a day trip from Perth so get out and enjoy them.
